I’ve been pondering what to do with Rockzilla since Alt TV went off air last month and I’ve decided in the meantime to carry on this website with anything rock and metal music related.

I’d like to say that Alt TV will be revived sometime soon and that Rockzilla can live another day on network television but the truth is, I have no idea if and when that will be the case.

Just got to keep moving forward the best way we can!

Just today, the NZ Herald has published a story about the current state of affairs or lack of to do with Alt TV.

Initially I was led to believe that Rockzilla would start up again this weekend but now I’ve been informed that Alt TV will no longer broadcast on Sky Digital.

I’ve heard the intention is to migrate over to FreeView.

When I know more, I’ll post another update.

Rockzilla will finally return on air with Alt TV on Saturday 7 March!

After much waiting, we’ve been told that Alt TV now has new ownership and will be back better than ever to kick all your asses once again. Catcha then!

I’ve been told by Alt TV management that we’re now supposed to be back on air the week starting 16 Feb 2009.

I’m not 100% what’s been holding the station up other than apparently it’s due to the fact that we’ve had a shortage of staff to operate our control room and cameras for broadcasting.

That’s about it for now. Aside from that, hope to see a lot of you mofo’s at the Iron Maiden shows as I’ll be attending both Auckland and Christchurch!

Just wanted to quickly let you know that all Alt TV shows are taking a break and will be back in the second week of January next year.

Rockzilla will start back up Sat 10 Jan 2009.
